Helen Marlen Group is a legendary luxury multi-brand clothing retailer in Ukraine. The company, which employs over 200 people, is the official representative of more than 190 global brands. Over 30 brands are exclusively represented in the country through Helen Marlen Group, including Loro Piana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry, Gucci, Casadei, Christian Louboutin, Alexander Wang, and Proenza Schouler.
Helen Marlen was actively expanding, but the decentralized ERP system couldn’t keep up with the growth rate.
As a result:
The company needed:
A unified methodology for calculating metrics.
A centralized management reporting system that accounts for specific roles and departments.
Transparent analytics that would provide confidence in every decision.
We succeeded in creating a centralized reporting system that united all stores and strengthened the company’s development.
Our approach: We began by analyzing Helen Marlen’s management processes. We developed a multi-level role-dependent reporting model that covered all key aspects of the business. We agreed with the brand team on a reporting structure in the form of tables with descriptions of indicators, calculation rules, and data sampling parameters. Our data engineers eliminated duplicates from the decentralized ERP system and cleaned up the information.
We built a transparent, centralized management reporting system that covers all levels: from stores to top management.
We created Power BI report prototypes that were approved by key users. This reduced the number of adjustments needed during implementation.
We deployed a role-dependent reporting model: each employee sees only the metrics relevant to their role and level of responsibility.
We unified the logic for calculating metrics: now all stores and the central office work with a single methodology.
We optimized data processing from the decentralized ERP: removed duplicates, cleaned data, and ensured data integrity
Reports became not only convenient but also effective: thanks to dynamic comparisons, dashboards, and color indicators, management quickly identifies deviations and makes decisions.
The result is quality analytics that supports Helen Marlen’s growth strategy and enhances business control.
