Control point: reporting has grown into a main control panel

Stonelight Company is a Ukrainian leader in the production of aerated concrete, which maintains high quality standards in the industry. The brand produces over 1.5 million cubic meters of aerated concrete blocks annually. It operates using high-precision German equipment. Stonelight is an example of colossal Ukrainian investment in manufacturing.

The client's problem

The customer approached us with a need to develop a modern management reporting system. It should allow top management and shareholders to quickly obtain key business indicators and make decisions based on up-to-date data. The main challenges we faced at the beginning of the project were:

the lack of a single source of management data;
the complexity of remote monitoring of indicators;
the need for automation of reporting for quick analysis.

We realized that we wanted to create a solution for the client that would make management technological, transparent, and convenient.

We have developed a mechanism that allows the company to see all processes and indicators on a single screen.
Our approach:

As usual, we conducted an in-depth business analysis of the company’s processes. They are crucial for making effective decisions. Our specialists designed the logic of reporting so that the figures show a complete picture of the work in any period. Next, we developed a platform that combined automation, analytics, flexibility, and intuitive data presentation. Despite the technical limitations of the old ERP system, we organized stable receipt of operational data through optimized ETL processes. In addition, we built a two-level management reporting system. It allows you to control your business from anywhere in the world, even from your phone.

Work results:

The reporting tool we created is now the central control panel. Thanks to it, StoneLight has gained:
- operational access to indicators in a convenient format—from a phone or computer;
- unquestionable transparency of financial and production processes;
- minimization of time spent on management decisions;
- a convenient system for visualizing indicators—a “traffic light” that allows you to quickly assess the situation.
As a result of our team’s work, top management and shareholders received a platform that speaks the language of business – simply, quickly, and accurately.
