Planeta Kino is the largest and most innovative cinema chain. It was the first company in Ukraine to introduce online ticket sales. It is known for its IMAX, 4DX, and RE'LUX cinema formats. In addition, it is renowned for its high standards of customer experience. Watching movies at Planeta Kino is all about high quality, positive emotions, and loyalty.
The client approached us with a desire for complete digital independence. The company wanted to control ticket sales without intermediaries. The brand wanted to launch its own technological and convenient service for viewers.

While working on this case, our team acted calmly and strategically. Creating our own platform in the shortest possible time was a challenging task. We did not start with the classic Discovery stage, but chose an adaptive approach. Based on the functionality of the existing portal, the analyst described the requirements. This saved time on formal processes.
In parallel, we held several strategic sessions with the customer. That was when we defined the key development goals for the platform. An interesting point is the use of Occam’s razor principle. Our specialists removed everything unnecessary. Only the most essential features were left for the first release. This approach allowed us to develop the foundation for a large-scale digital ecosystem that is fully ready for further development.
