The charitable foundation “Patients of Ukraine” is one of the leading healthcare organizations, representing the interests of over 4.5 million people with severe and chronic illnesses. One of the foundation’s key tools is the E-Liky website — an open-access service that allows Ukrainians to check the availability of free, state-funded medicines in specific hospitals. This digital platform has become a vital bridge between patients and the healthcare system, helping people access up-to-date information on medication availability every day.
The client approached IWIS with a need to ensure technical stability and development of the resource, as the lack of IT specialists in the fund’s team made it impossible to provide quality support for this socially important digital resource.
Key Requests:
The E-Liky website is a critically important tool for patients with serious illnesses, so the stability and reliability of the platform had to become an unconditional standard.
The project involved a code audit, refactoring, and transition to long-term support to keep the platform effective and secure for users.
We started with a technical audit: analyzed the codebase, identified bottlenecks, and outlined a list of optimization tasks.
Next, we focused on improvements: updated the architecture, rewrote outdated components, accelerated data rendering, and stabilized overall platform performance.
After optimization, we took over SLA-based support, ensuring platform stability and fast resolution of technical issues for the foundation.
The service received reliable technical support: the website works stably even under heavy load, and all critical tasks are solved on time. The foundation’s team no longer needs to spend time on technical issues: the resource works without failures and does not require constant intervention.
Our client received:
a stable and optimized platform for checking medication availability in hospitals;
faster website performance and data updates in a user-friendly format;
reduced risk of technical failures during critical moments;
SLA support with prompt response to technical requests.
The platform operates steadily and fulfills its mission every day: helping those for whom every dose of medicine can be crucial.
